Thundermax t body question
« on: October 03, 2011, 09:37:39 AM »

I just got a great deal on a thunder max throttle body and getting ready to put it on but my question is this.  It takes a spread bolt battern on the 50mm t body. will a heavy breather work or does anyone make an elbow type aircleaner to fit it or do I have to get the thundermax aircleaner?

Thank you

I've got a Zippers 50mm throttle body.  When purchased Kitzmiller there told me their air cleaner was the only unit that matched their throttle body.

I never actually held another piece up to the throttle body to verify their claim.  Probably should have though.  After all, that wouldn't have been the only thing he said during that purchase cycle that didn't enjoy the benefit of verity.

I don't know about yours, but on mine I had to get newer shorter throttle cables. May not be an issues of the TBW bikes.

Thanks. I did pul m forcesinder off and my niternal breather bracket bolt hols spacing too narrown and throttle bore hole to small and samve with forcewinder . went to HD shop and pulled out thir heavy breather for the hoghflow t body and bolt holes wer in wrong place.  Looks like I have to buy the t max air  filter. use the old set up later on when I buld a custom.
