Pleasants Valley Road Ride - 9/26/11 - Video Report
« on: November 04, 2011, 12:32:45 PM »

This would be my 1st intentional shoot and edit with the GoPro. Took a while to put together, I hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun making it.

‎50 minutes of footage -- chopped, condensed, and synced to an audio track only 3 min 46 seconds long.

Now that I got some of the editing functions figured out, I'm ready to assemble the video for the 2011 MITM trip.  :2vrolijk_21:

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Well, what is a video worth?  :nixweiss:

P.S.  I'm waiting on the image thumbnail to update to a better choice.  Default thumbnail had to pick that spot...  :confused5:

Edit: The thumbnail has been updated.  :orange:

Probably should add some detail as to the road.

It runs between Hwy 80 (near Vacaville, CA) and Winters off of Hwy 505.

At the end of the run, you can go left to Lake Berryessa headed towards Napa, or right towards Winters and 505 for a quick return to Hwy 80.

Listed on Phasnit, it is one of my closest runs I can take a quick 45 min ride on.

Will add more details later.

I picked up a copy of Cyberlink's PowerDirector 10.  Less than a hundred bucks and some of the aternatives were either not as good or too much editor with a pricetag to match (some over $500).

Here's a link to the timeline view of the video to give you an idea of what I did to merge the two camera views together etc...  Kinda cool that the software supports this function.

Thank you everyone for the comments. ;D

I hope to make more, but time being limited lately I've not had the chance to either record or edit.  Still need to finish the MITM, then think of what to film next.  :orange:
