Just off the wall here...If you really like the bike and want to keep it, why not ship it to Jim in Ca and let him take care of it for you and then fly out this summer and ride Ca :2vrolijk_21:

Not only will it be taken care of properly but save you 3 - 4 days of riding on your trip

Probably not a bad idea considering the hassles he has had so far... I've seen these same 110" issues back in 2007 and early 2008 and the motor company was replacing engines left and right and many folks were even required to sign waivers not discuss it... I think he has one of those crap motors but I think the Mo Co has since given up on replacing them... I wish him all the luck, his only chance is to get the bike in the right hands,    :2vrolijk_21:

Hear is the latest installment of this story.
Service guy call today and said the bike was ready. Since I have to have surgery on my foot Friday, I hooked up the t#$*&^r (its cold here today) and picked her up. The service manager said that they had called Harley in on the problem since they were having problems getting it to run correctly. I have to give them credit. They keep after the problem until they got it to run right. The fix (I HOPE) was that the cams were faulty. They were off from the cam timing mark. I didn't think to ask if both or one was off. I will say that the motor sounds like a harley now....not a honda. Loading it up and around the drive it seems to have plenty of low end. I used to have to slip the clutch and spin the motor. Asside from both cylinders hitting pretty sharp, the throttle response is much improved. Blipping the throttle in the garage is more like an explosion, the engine responds to the throttle so much more quickly.
I guess it will be a while before I can put some miles under it (unless I can get Hogasm to come ride it for me) :) so I'll have to wait to see if it holds up. I'm still looking for a replacement for it though. Maggie has a way of kicking me in the head, as Rod says, and even I have my limits of crap I can stand!
If I can get it on the road tomorrow, maybe I can finally see what a 110 feels like! Oh, I've got to get the TTS tune back in too!
Stay tuned for a follow up and I hope this helps someone else that is having the same problems.
Thanks to those that posted to help me get this far!
