I had heard from reading somewhere that the unveiling of 2013 bikes would be later than normal next year which would push the window closed on riding 2013 models at Sturgis next year. Seemed as though the article was saying that Harley was attempting to slow down production for model years, thereby bringing the value on used bikes up as new models would not be so readily available as has been the case for the last few years. I remember late in 2004 having to be put on a waiting list just to get a non-cvo bike when it arrived. if you didn't buy it, someone was there with cash in hand. maybe this is a return to those days. If it means longer in production so they can produce an absolutely superior product, I would understand it and be all for it. Unfortunately Harley has a reputation of problems they will probably be a long time changing as people just like to Pound Harley.......just cause it gets a reaction out of us. Personally, I believe in the product and wish I had signed on many years ago. Yay for American made products that keep all the money right here in the states and our own people employed. if that means I have to wait til April, then I'll wait until April. Sorry, overseas brothers and sisters, you may have to wait til July.......but you'll get a great product Pork.
