I installed the HD LED on mine for the weekend because I was going on a lengthy ride and figured we would end up night riding some. Very good choice. I cant compare to HID or anything else but stock, but it is night and day better than stock. Dont pay retail. Make a few calls or internet. Bottom line is that I am pleased, and see MUCH better at night. 2011 SE streetglide

I Agree..... the LED headlamp does a great job. Now if we were to do the passing lamps in LED, where is the best price to get the LED's and Lamp Housings.
I would want the same settup as on the SEUC for passing lamps, (without the bar).
Any ideas where the best price would be for these?

Email from HD Customer Support : Re LED Headlights

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that LED Headlights are not homologated in the EU so are not road legal at this time.

Looks like I will have to stay stock for a while longer, the annoying thing is they advertise the LED unit but we can't buy it!! :cucumber:

Just ordered the Passing Lamp and LED Lights to go along with the LED Headlight that I already have on the Street Glide.
For those of you that have already done the passing lamps, how difficult was the install of the passing lamps, and wiring?

Thx. Sawyerghost

Very easy. Plugs right into the stock bulb harness. 5 minute job.

I had the Xtralight on my SEEG until I had an issue with the harness. It was awesome! I had the stock spots because at the time I couldn't get it for them (Wonder, can you now?) Anyway, when I got my 12 Ultra I got the HD LED's after seeing them on 11hd110's bike. Since then I just came off a weekend trip where we were driving at night. I was the third bike in a line of 6 and we were riding back to the cabin we were staying at. It was in the country and it was pretty dark, no street lights. I couldn't believe the periphial vision from these lights. I turned off my spots to see if it was due to my bike and it was! There were 6 deer we spotted that got spooked and took off in front of our path. Saw them coming and all were able to stop before they crossed. I am very satisfied with the performance of these LED's vs stock! What I did notice however is when in a turn you do loose some of your periphial vision due to the angle of the lean and the spots are on a bar so it angles downward. I look ahead before the turn and helps.
