« on: April 13, 2011, 12:54:10 AM »

Just picked me up a set of Python 3 staggered exhaust for my FXR. Does anyone have these, and can you give a review? Thanks

Jay, I don't have them in my hands yet. I bought em off eBay and they should be here within the next few days. I was hoping someone on here had them or has them on there bike and could offer up any info or reviews.

When I bought mine in 2010 the previous owner had put on the P3. They look fine, maybe a bit loud.  There is no crossover like the HD system, which makes the P3 look much better, IMHO.

If you like it loud you got it...I mounted these on my 2000 Deuce they have been on for 10 years and still look great. Honestly, they are just too loud. Sets of car alarms when I drive by and even ear plugs dont help. If I could tone it down, I would do so...

When my friend suggested a loud pipe is a safe pipe, they werent kidding with these.

I have a set that come on my FXR4. They sound nice to me, too loud for the wife but for me, No Such Thing As Too Loud!!!! Loud Pipes Saves Lives. I replaced them for a set of Stepped Hooker Short Staggered Dual that I relly like the looks of but the header at the head is smaller than stock so it can not be used on a big motor!
