I have the 10" Windsplitter, tinted. It's LIGHT tinted, and you can see through it (so light I thought it was clear and returned it to the dealer, who set me straight).

I look over it most of the time. (I"m 5' 10" and sit forward just a bit on stock bars -- as compared to ape hangers). Spoiler on the upper lip and scoops help direct wind around the rider. Shield extends beyond the fairing shield slot and out to the mirrors. It leans back and so you can't use the tri-pocket pouches or GPS above the fairing. Leans back to enclose the rider.

I have the 4" dark and 7" dark tint standard flat shields. The 10" Windsplitter is a nice improvement in cutting noise and buffeting.

Here's some pics of the HD 10" Wind splitter installed on my Ultra, the part that extends to the sides sits about 1/4" above the painted fairing so it does not touch the paint. Very nice wind protection for face and hands, as long as you are tall enough to see above it, as the distorted line about 1" below the top would be annoying for a short rider. I'm 6' and like it a lot.
Also the fact that it's wider and flatter at the top makes a nice visual change compared to the usual semi-circular model seen all the time. It only comes in this very light tint though, I would have preferred darker.

Here's a front shot, look at the post behind the windshield, you can see where the distortion line is.
Very annoying if you have to look through it, so I would only recommend for people 5'10" and more.

I suggest that if you want to buy the 10" (or any windshield for that matter) to fit it first. I tried it and hated it because the curve at the top of windshield was directly in my line of sight.
