Ride to Dreamland BBQ

Just a couple of pics from outside Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa, AL.  This is the original location..."back in the day", you had to know about it from locals to go there...now they have several places both in Alabama and Atlanta.  Some of the best Ribs, white bread, and sauce you'll ever wrap your lips around.  Good homemade Sweet Tea too.  Worth a trip if you're in the area. 

The newer places are much nicer looking than the original building, but don't have the character.  Tuscaloosa is only about 60 miles from my door, and was my home for 13 years of my life, so I used to go to this place frequently.  Lip smackin' good...

My lovely bride, Judi...

The guy is the background is an LSU football fan...there were several LSU people in there for lunch.  They were driving back to LA from the SEC Championship Game in Hot'Lanta.

Judi got a new Fox Creek Leather Braided Dime Vest, and I had a patch sewn on the back of it for her.  She had to model it for the camera.... ;)

Last one is my fat azz, full of ribs, BBQ Beans, Cole Slaw, and Tea.  Hmmmmm...good.

No doubt that LSU is, for the time being, the best team in the country, bar none.  Of course, I'm a 'Bama fan...it should be another great game.  I think there will be a lot more scoring in this one than the last one though.  It'll be a physical battle,that's for sure.

If the Tigers can win by 3 again, I would hope it'll be 38-35. I'm not a big fan of defensive games.
