That story is what "real America" used to be all about.. And I hope someday we get back to those 'true roots'

My biggest disappointment is with HD.  I bought an American motorcycle for a reason.  I hate the fact that most of the accessories are made overseas.    :nixweiss:

Q:  What is the USA's number one export to China?
A:  Trash!  They loved our high quality trash. (not any longer).

Don't know why these people thought they had bought things made in America, they basically had nothing made here.

We are more aware of where everything we buy is made. It's though to find some products made in the U.S.A., others not so much. We are trying our best to do our part. I would encourage everyone to do what they can. It just might put your neighbor back to work.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Harleys are not American made.  You will not find that statement anywhere on anything officially HD.  Less than 50% of the parts are American sourced.  My daughter worked for HD for 5 years and showed me all of the official terms that could and could not be used in ads.  "American Made" is on the NOT list.  "American engineered" "American assembled", on the yes list.

Just think of the impact we'd have if we just asked for American products whenever we're shopping....
