Good Builder in NW Ark or SW Missourri area?
« on: January 09, 2012, 11:12:41 PM »

Anyone know of a good builder in the NW Ark or SW Missouri area? Thinking about doing a little head work, cams, and doing the crank work to ensure I'm not on the side of the road. Hate to use a Harley Dealer for the cost and unwillingness to use anything but SE parts...

I'm in Joplin but don't have any glowing recommendations. Crank work isn't an option at all locally.   Good head work really isn't either.  Send parts out to a good shop for the work and just have the disassembly and reassdmbly fond locally.

C&S Speed Shop
Allorton, Ill.

C&S is about 500 miles away from the geographic area he's asking about.  Once parts go on a big brown truck distance begins not to matter so much.  It's either local or its shipped.  A little bit of a weird outlook I guess.  But in practice that's how it ends up...
