    • CVO1: 2011 FLTRUSE
TTS Mastertune
« on: February 14, 2012, 05:05:38 PM »

I have a build underway and was just informed that the TTS Mastertune is not compatible with the 2011 FLTRUSE (Road Glide).  Something about a different connector used on my scooter.  Said that in 2011 & 2012 model years only the Softail & Dyna models were supported because of the connector.  I was also told the new model coming out first part of April 2012 would have connectivity for my bike.  All this being said I have two questions:
1. Does this story sound about right?
2. If this is the scoop, is it worth waiting on?
My build consist of exhaust, head work, stroked, bored, cams, pistons, larger TB, injectors, cams, 31T sprocket,.......

Smitty2u can we ask who it was that informed you that the TTS Mastertune is not compatable with your 2011 FLTRUSE?

My builder, which is also my HD dealer, went to order the tuner and was informed by Kuryakn that it would be early April for a model would be available which worked on the 2011 FLTRUSE.

From what I know the opposite is true. It will work with all year Touring models, and the new version for the Softail is coming out later this year.

That's what I think as well.....I used my TTS on my 2011 SESG already.

The TTS will work fine with your bike....who ever told you it wouldn't is wrong.

Everyone has beat me on this answer but your builder is feeding you BS. The product for your application was released 1 week after the 2011 Touring bikes came on the market.

I appreciate everyone setting me straight.  I will get my builder on the same page.  Sorry to have stirred things up.
