Exhaust for '12 CVO Street Glide
« on: January 31, 2012, 11:26:45 AM »

I have been reading a bunch of posts on here as exhaust has been discussed a bunch.  I am pretty sure I am going to do the full sac header and TTS with their map.  I am trying to figure out what I want to do for slip ons as I don't believe the full sac baffles will be as loud as I would like them to be.  My current by has a set of V&H Big Shot Shorts on a modified 95in motor to give you an idea of what I am used to.  My initial inclination is to go with a set of V&H Hi output slip ons.  Is anyone else running this configuration?  If so I would like to hear what you think about performance and sound.

Looks like you've already done your research here.  If you just want noise, go with Thunderheader with the false left side.  Deep tone/rumble but you'll not be able to hear your stereo.

Or if you want REALLY loud... a D&D Fat Cat 2-into-1 with the ghost left pipe. Those suckers are LOUD...

The Rinehart 4" will give you more sound than any of the Fullsacs, IMO.

I like it louder than most and I wouldnt want them any louder.
