Arlen Ness Lowering Kit?
« on: February 14, 2012, 04:15:32 PM »

Thinking of lowering my 2012 SE Ultra with the Arlen Ness front and rear lowering kit (1").   Has anyone used this kit?  Any comments?  Thank you.

Do you have any links to this kit?  We prefer a Progressive mono tube kit to lower the front as the ride quality is so much better than a standard spring lowering kit.  If the rear you are asking about is a set of lowering blocks, it will certainly affect ride quality of the bike as well due to the fact that the blocks change the angle of the shocks which decreases their ability to do their job.  Check out Ohlins from Motorcycle Metal.com  This will certainly cost more but your bike will ride a thousand times better.

Appreciate the comments.

Not that I am endorsing this product, but I am just surprised to see a lowering kit that includes a kickstand....
