Can anyone tell me if I change my mufflers by installing the Full sac muffler cores only, do I void any warranty with Moco?

Is the sound considerably louder by changing the original cores with the Full Sac 2 Inch cores.

Never ever seen this system before so is this the best way to go when I want to keep the same OEM look?

Thanks
Barry

The warranty issue has been discussed here many times and if you want / need more info you can use the search function.  Under U.S. law, the short answer is "No," installation of Fullsac (or changing your mufflers) will not affect your warranty unless it can be shown that your modification was a cause of an issue with the bike.  Even then the warranty would only be voided for that issue.  I'm not familiar with Canadian law but doubt it would be different.   :nixweiss:

If you reuse the original packing, the 2" cores are louder and deeper but I would not say "considerably."  Note that is a subjective term, however.

Lot's of us here have gone with the fullsac and I have yet to see anyone dissatisfied so it seems to be the way to go if you want the stock look.  You might want to read this thread:  Installing Fullsac Baffles on 09 CVO Road Glide.  Good luck!

As Greg said, unless Canada is significantly different from the USA the warranty for everything but the actual mufflers should not be affected.  The mufflers themselves, of course, would no longer be warranted once you cut the baffles out.

Always hate to ask a question I've got no clue as to the answer of.  But what's the language in the Harley warranty on emissions defects?  It's likely that the emissions defects part of the vehicle warranty will be void as a result of the change in an emissions component.

If so that would include oxygen sensors and other engine management.  Which would open up a much large can of the proverbial worms.

Maybe, maybe not. Lots depends on your dealer.

Not "considerably", but, yes different tone and little louder. (You will have cat converters in your stock mufflers)

Probably.

I'm assuming a '06 SE bagger?

Hope the "short answer" helps.

Who knows what the moco or ESP might assert to avoid having to honor a claim.  They might be wrong and you might be right but the cost of having to assert your rights might be prohibitive.  Unfortunately with our legal system you have to pay to play.  With that being said I personally would not sweat it.  If I wanted to make the change I would.
