As an IT guy and a gun owner, I think he is an idiot.

If you REALLY want to punish a kid today, you dont bust a cap in their laptop, you BLOCK them from Facebook. There are several over the counter apps you can install to keep you kids off of sites. Social media is one of the categories.

Let em keep the laptop, and let em surf the internet, just dont let em back on their social media sites and THEN watch what happens!

The kid will act like you just chopped off a limb! If you really want to be mean, block texting on their cell phone!  8)

There are so many better ways of taking the teenage ego down a few points without being a grandstanding tool.....

Real or not - there are no shortages of dumb asses in the world!!!!

Spectorsoft.com - keeps the kids off of things - and lets you know what they are up to.  My kids both have laptops, and they both know big brother is watching until they turn 18.

Britain tried to do away with them. In the U.S. It just seems that we keep getting more and more of them. Many households have multiples. The U.S. Needs to try harder to get rid of them. More education is called for but we still have the problem. IDIOTS. No way to get rid of idiots.
