lower fairing removal 2012

Anybody that has removed their fairings on a 2012 with the speakers, can you tell me if there is a way to take the wire out of the fairing without cutting them?  Hole is only big enough for the wire itself to pass through.  Connector will not pass through as is.  At least not what I can tell.

The speaker wires unplug on forks right under fairing. All of the wires stay on lowers

mine came with caps for the exposed plug
