Finally had a chance to test the 2012 windshield and covers I installed on my 2011 convertible and the difference is noticeable.  Was buffeted around some with the stock windshield and it is now gone.  I did just order the Zumo 660 so will finish it all up when it gets here.  It was mentioned on a previous post to feed the new harness through the nano compartment and then tap into the amp plug line for power so it you can easily remove the fairing with the one plug.  Has anyone else done it differently?  Just looking to see what my options are.

i also installed 2012 windshield on my 2010
happy with with the results
noticed a problem tonight after dark the speedometer light reflects across the top two inches of the windshield
really distracting  not sure what to do about this

I'm hoping to get my 2011 windscreen mounted and tested, the stock 2012 is about 2" too tall for my 5'8". . . .

I also updated my 2011 with a 2012 windshield. I recently got my Zumo 660 and decided to do as others and splice the power wire into the existing amp. power so it would still be one plug to dis-connect. A word of caution to anyone else trying this mod....When you start taking things apart, and it's like an onion, layer after layer to get to the amp., either take some pictures, or label the screws you remove so you can get them back in the right place. I thought I would remember, but I guess my short term memory is not what it once was.
The job probably took me twice as long as it should have, but I still completed it in a couple of hours.
The results are what counts and it is a nice clean look.
