They don't get any brighter than the stock LED tailights that come on it.  You can add more lights if you'd like.....saddlebag spoilers w/LEDs in them or a tour pack with spoiler w/LED run/brake lights.....but then you start taking away from the smooth rounded lines of the back of a SESG. :nixweiss:

See if one of the Canadian guys will swap rear fenders and lights with you.  The export models still get the pig nose brake light.

Seriously, I also do not like the visibility from the rear with just the LED's in the filler panels.  While they seem to be OK at night, they don't seem very bright to me during daylight hours.  If it were me, I'd first look into adding some lights to the rear of the bags, be it the spoiler on the lids or a custom solution.

If you can't find a Canadian to swap with, I'd think you could purchase a Canadian version fender from HD already painted, that has the opening for the pignose tail light. You'll also need the Canadian version wiring harness and then add a smoked laydown version of the Brighass tailight. That will definitely blast people behind you when you apply the brakes. BA lights are superbright. Brighter than HD's by a mile. I have a BA light and highly recommend. Costs about $250. Good luck.
