I had that same problem, my local dealership changed the turnsignal control module after trouble shooting all the wires and the bulbs. It just started acting up again today. My left turn signal is intermitent. When I press the button the indicator on the "dash" lights but does not flash and the turn signals iluminate some times. This only affects the left side....Gonna have to call the shop back and have them fix it again.

As it turns out, the battery was resting on the wiring harness. This was cutting the wires one by one. :soapbox:

The wiring harness is supposed to travel in front of the battery, The battery did some damage to the wires. I decided to check the harness because the ol girl was also giving me starter problems and other weird anomalies.

So i can only recommend that you check to see that the battery is not sitting on this harness.     As it will start to cut them one, by one!

Cheers
