Mustang seat question
« on: April 13, 2012, 11:54:48 AM »

Anyone know if the CVO Streetglide is different in the seating area from the standard Streetglide? I'm looking at this seat for my CVO Streetglide. http://www.motorcycleseatdealer.com/products/2008-2009-2010-201-Motorcycle-Seat-Heated-Super-Touring-Plain-Driver-Backrest-Harley-FLHR-FLHX-FLHT-FLHTR.html

That's a Mustang seat.....may want to give them a call to confirm.

In regards to the Corbin, the seat on my 2010 SESG fits on my wife's 09 Street Glide with no problem. :2vrolijk_21:

I used this exact seat on my 2011 cvo street glide. Fricken loved it!!! The mustang seat will also let you use Harley's  cable adjustable back rest mount or just the standard back rest mount can be used. That's what i used since I already had it. The seat was 10x more comfortable over stock. I put the stock seat back on it at the end of the year and had rode it to the storage complex, man oh man I don't know how I put a couple of thousand kms before I switched seats. Stock seat is hard, uncomfortable and not very forgiving over the choppy roads around here. Only complaint with the mustang seat is that it made me sit a little taller and moved me forward a bit. No big deal, I got use to it pretty quick.

That should fit fine.  I have one on my 12.  It's the best seat I ever ride on. You will love it.  :2vrolijk_21:
