Does anyone know the manufacturer of this receiver hitch?
« on: April 12, 2012, 12:20:12 AM »

I just picked up this new-to-me 2011 Street Glide with a 103ci and it came with this receiver mounted underneath the tri-bar light.  I like the style of it, but wanted to know who made it.... the way it's curved to contour the back of the fender almost makes it disappear from the back of the bike. I researched on the interwez for a while with no luck on a manufacturer. If it was powder coated closer to the color of the bike, I might decide to keep it.

I does look like it... but the pic showing the mounting hardware appears to be different.  Mine has a thick plate steel that runs up the contour of the rear fender, and it also ties into the rear mountings of the bag supports on either side.  I am in the middle of a color change on the bike, so I will be taking more pics as I strip the bike down to frame.  Not sure if it's gonna stay on the bike, just depends on how it will blend in I guess.

It has been growing on me as well. When I bought the bike this past Satuday, I was convinced to take it off... now, not so sure.  :nixweiss:

Here is a N-line hitch on a old style frame.

I agree.  The inner framework is stout!  I will take some pics of it and get them posted.
