Fullsac
« on: April 05, 2012, 02:31:06 PM »

Just finished the Fullsac install on my 2012 FLHX with 300 miles. Went with the C pipe. 1.75 recore, Leaving the fiberglas in. The supplied map. The SE Ventilator air cleaner with the K+N filter. Everything went as planned. Test ride felt smoother with more power and great sound. I am pleased. Just need some riding weather. Cloudy and cold in VA.

Went with the C pipe.

Is this the newest one? What is the criteria for use?

1)As for the guy who drove by my house. He has to work
2)If I have this correct the C pipe is the latest version developed for the 110 but shows good results on the 103.

The new Fullsack "C" pipe is designed for the 110" & larger engines.  I installed one about a month ago on my 2010 Ultra CVO with a temporary TTS map (since the pipe is so new) and I love it!   :mango:

I think it's running a little too rich right now, but Steve is working on a revised map for the C pipe version.  Nice sound and much cooler without the cat.

I don't not see a "C" pipe on the Fullsac's website:

Available in two sizes.

X-Pipe "A" for 96" engines.
X-Pipe "B" for 103" and 110" engines.

Do you guys know what the difference is?

When I called I mentioned reading about the "C" version of the pipe here on the forum and they put me on their waiting list for the new "C" version.
I was told they should be ready to start shipping them out later this month, and I would get a call when everything was ready -- pipe, 2" baffles, TTS and map.
I already have a "spare" set of take off mufflers that I removed the baffles from and they are sitting in the garage waiting....

I can hardly wait :orange:  the reduced heat alone will be worth it.

I have the "B" pipe and very happy with the reduction in heat. Don't be fooled though, in the summer with a air/oiled cooled 110 you will still get hot!

The "C" pipe will work just fine on the 96'', 103'', and the 110'' Harley has been using the 1.75 pipe on all their models for more years than I can remember so if you have a smaller engine don't hesitate to use the "C" pipe.

I ordered mine.  They would not even offer the B pipe.  6 to 8 weeks.  Cant wait.

My tech mentioned something about a difference in exhaust diameter-vs.-exhaust valve size. Apparently, the valve is a little over 2 inches, and the pipe is just under that.  He didn't go into details, as I already had the B-pipe, which he said would work fine. I assume the flanges on the C-pipe are just over 2", but I haevn't seen anything on the fullsac site to state this.

My B pipes were installed the day they released the C pipe. I figured they have worked great all this time so no big deal. I went a head and had the Fullsac Stage II done while I was on vacation and when I got back and went in to pick the bike up and the service manager wanted to talk to me about my pipes. They dealership has become a Fullsac dealer and he had B & C pipes on order. He wants to put the B on his 103 and said he would trade the C's for mine  :o If the C pipe is that much better.....WOW is all I can say. It's a hold on tight ride now

So my understanding is that these C pipes are a non stepped header vs the B that is stepped. Is the C version a constant 1.75" pipe?

I only ask because Im considering going to a 2-1 and have a choice between stepped and non stepped header. Im thinking this whole revelation that the C pipe performs better supports my thoughts that a non stepped head pipe is better for the 110.
