Adv Audio system
« on: April 29, 2012, 09:15:03 PM »

I have a 2011 road glide ultra, bought used.  I am trying to get the passengert speakers to work by following the owners manual.  When I do set up I do not have the FADE option that allows taking to front/rear speakers.  I have the dash button correct to pick up the rear spaekers but the fade otion not there.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

I think the fader is set up for headset and cb comms balance is front to rear as left and right dont really do much on a bike each audio source has to have the volume set ie CB ,GPS etc when radio is on cb turn up volume before it disappears then do same with all audio options

You will have to take it to the dealer and get your radio flashed. Then you will be able to fade front to rear. It will cost you around $40 unless you have a friend that works there!

Press the left side handlebar audio switch and you should be able to scroll through volume, treble, bass, etc.  "Fader" should show up.  If not, take the bike to the dealer as the bike is still under warranty.

Speaker switch on fairing cap has nothing to do with selecting rear speakers. It activates / deactivates the headset options

Should be able to cycle thru the options on the left side control switch. Once you land on iit, just move it up or down.
