Alot of people (under 50) You have more of a less is best attitude    I grew up around bikes my whole life
only the old dudes had dressers we used to call them geezerglides LOL They are alot nicer now(baggers) but there not for everyone.    jus my say

I have enjoyed watching SOA knowing that it was entertainment.  Personally I would not purchase a bike that is advertising for anything other than the manufacturer.  I absolutely love my FLHXSE3 and would buy it again in a heartbeat.  That being said, as I have watched a few of these threads railing on the proposed SOA bikes and I would agree with questioning the the decision making process of those how would purchase this bike.  However, it seems to me that from a business perspective this may be a good move for the dealer, in that they WILL sell 100 of these bikes in California and they are going to get what they ask for them.

You probably saw them sitting on the floor down there at Eagle's Nest.  That's where the bikes were built for the series.  They made the copies and couldn't sell them......they sit on the floor for months and months.

That didn't happen.  As I just posted.....Eagle's Nest in Lathrop built the original bikes.  By the way, Eagle's Nest Harley Davidson is in San Joaquin County (the same county for the fictitious setting for SOA), just south of Stockton.  They made a number of these bikes and couldn't sell them.  Not sure where they went but they all disappeared about the same time.

This dealership has had the cast there at their dealership a time or two and gave each of the cast members their own copy of the bike to keep.  Wasn't a profitable business for California (they're not star struck out here) but may be down there in the south.

Some collectors will buy one to see if they ever are worth anything down the road.  It's a novelty bike - so I'm sure a few will sell.

Now if they were smart on SOA, they would outfit them with some of the SE bikes that we been modding.  We could get cameo appearances on the show, get paid $30K, and see our bad ass bikes in prime time!
