What are our options? H-D or other Man. Are there ratings we should be aware of? And most importantly, colors :2vrolijk_21:

I don't have a specific answer for you, but i do know a buddy changed wires and developed a lot of whine through his stereo, put back the stock ones and it went away.  I don't recall which ones he used, but hopefully someone will have more info about the shielding / types / brands for you.

Stay away from so-called performance wires with solid wire cores, or any non-suppressor wires.  All you will get is radio frequency interference and a large pain in the posterior.  The interference can also affect the ECM, and many of the aftermarket wires will also affect the Delphi Ion-Sense system that is part of the ignition.  That system detects detonation and signals the ECM to adjust ignition timing to eliminate it.  Significant changes to the resistance of the wires (or plugs) can negate the ion-sense, or cause it to send bogus readings to the ECM.

The best approach on an EFI bike is to stick with the stock wires.  If you just want a different color, try an internet search for colored sleeves that can be installed over the stock wires.  I know I've seen them somewhere.  There are also places that sell different colored boots as well.

Bought some Taylor 10mm wires for my '09 SERG and the coil boot was too big.  Returned them and bought the HD screamin' Eagle 10mm, working good.

Recently purchased the 10mm SE Phat wires.  In order to replace the stock wires I'll have to cut off the old fastner looms.

Looking to replace the stock looms that follow the cable from Coil to Spark plugs that come with CUSE7.  The stock looms look like they have a tie-tie molded onto a male fastner that plugs into holes along the way.

Can anyone point me where I can get a handful?

It doesn't just detect detonation, but any form of mal-combustion.  So bogus information to the ECM can be further-reaching than just too much or not enough ignition timing being pulled.

You should be able to get them from your Harley dealer.  If you're talking about what I think you are, the part number is 70681-09.  See attachment.  You might be able to work them out without cutting them if you squeeze the legs together before pulling/twisting them out.

Here is what I am using. I basicly ignored all the "power increase" hype. I bought them because they are beefy and bright!   Face
