Not out to make a mess of the chrome covers, but I bought a set, installed them and found out after 50 miles that they "pop out' of the front rubber hole. It is out about 1/4" to 1/2" from the frame. And on the left side it will than "rest" on the pipe and burn a small spot on the paint.

I took them off, open up the hole in the front and put it back on. About 150 miles it still did the same thing...took them off and put it in my stack of stuff the don't work!

Any one want them.......FREE!

just give me a address to ups to and I will

I put a set on my SERK a couple of months ago, and yes it takes three hands. they are not a perfect fit, but do look good. It is a little tough putting on and taking off side covers.

twincam,
Originally had no problems with midframe covers. Changed to corbin seat and left side cover on front would stay in hole. Used a 1/2" heat shrink to cover shaft on side cover and no more problems. Hope this helps, john
