My RCX slipons are turning gold just after the CAT. I know these 110" motors are suposed to run hot, but this is insane...I only have 200 miles on them. Now either the RCX's are cheaply made or my motor is running very HOT

Any of you guys have any similar issues with your slipons and stock head pipe??

This is because of the cat in the header (heat is produces) and the bad tune from the factory.

Happened to me on my 2010 RKC with a set of Rinehart slip-ons when I didn't know better.

thanks medic. Wow it runs that hot stock. I just orderd a PowerVision that should be here on Sat. I will use a map for my set up with stock headpipe. Jamie at Fuel Moto says it will help quite a bit even with the CAT still in place. We shall see.
