What would you expect to pay on FLHTCUSE7?
« on: August 05, 2012, 05:37:53 PM »

Now that we're only a couple of weeks from the release of the 2013's what would you expect to pay for a 2012 Orange & Black?  I'm looking at one, and wanted to know what would be a reasonable offer, ,... new from a dealer.  How much off the MSRP?

I currently have a 2011 LTD, but if the price was right, I might step up to the plate.

I think most dealers will still charge MSRP for a brand new untitled '12 SEUC. What you may be able to bargain for is some perks like were mentioned in the previous thread (store credit, no setup/destination fees, etc). Even though the '13's will soon be released I doubt they will have any trouble getting rid of that bike.

I would agree with Fired00d. The bike will sell with out any discounts. Not like a 1200 or 883 that are a dime a dozen. Would try to get extended warranty or service plan thrown in to the deal and no set up. Good luck with the deal. A CVO is worth it even at MSRP.

Thanks guys!  I appreciate the input.  It gives me some perspective on a realistic starting point to bargain.  I should have mentioned I'm on the left coast, and I have a dealership in mind.  If I join the club, you will be sure to hear back and see some pics!  Of course I will want to know the secret handshake was well! ::)

San diego Harley has had 1 in stock for quite a while. Great group of guys. You might want to call Chris in sales there and see what they will do before you write the check...

I got a discount 12 months ago. The dealer is now selling with no sales tax, set up or any other charges. I also bet you could get another grand off.

You're lucky!  You got to pay the Govenor here in Cali, and he ain't cheap.  Actually he want's an extra 1/2 cent this year for his good looks! ;D

At 8.25% (currently) I doubt any dealer will waive the taxes on a 38K bike.  You got to pay to play! :)
