CVO Cover for 2011 SESG
« on: June 06, 2012, 01:34:15 PM »

I bought a 2011 SESG used recently and it came with the CVO cover. When I put the cover on the bike I noticed that there seems to be quite a bit of extra room in it, as if the cover were meant for a CUSE with king tour pak. Have any of you other SESG owners had the same experience, or is it possible that I was given the wrong cover? Thanks

All FLH covers allow for a tourpak.

Me either.

I would assume all touring bikes, get a touring cover which would allow room for a king tour pak.

My was the same way the first and only time I used it.

The cover I got for around $30.00 at PepBoys for my previous bike fits it better than the CVO one.

Thank you all for the feedback. Good reason to add a tour-pak! :)

If you're willing to spend $1500+ on a tour pack to make your cover fit better, sounds like you were already looking for an excuse... ;D

The extra room is for your BSR. When you come in for a ride and you've had her chewing in you ear all night telling you what you're not doing right, well....you just park the scooter and throw the baggy cover over her and the bike.  Cover will fit snug then.  :lipsrsealed2: :lolk:

I hear that! or should I say prefer not to. That's why I got rid of the 09 CVO ultraclassic with the big soft heated seat and cooshy suspension. Now it's low to the ground, very loud pipes and stock 2011 SESG seat. Darn, I am sorry it's not as comfortable as the old bike, but heah, I am happy! :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:
