I agree and it doesn't provide near enough light compared to the 7" headlight on my wife's 06 FatBoy.  I have been looking to see if I can find a 7" that would fit because of how "out of place" the 5 3/4" seems on that front end.  I have been looking into a 7" stretched version that might keep the smaller circumference where the windshield is placed so that it still fits.

Keep us updated on what you find regarding a stretched housing,I was thinking of doing the same.

Guys, can you have a look at this picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/verlink/5574584920/, is any one familiar with the P/N of this headlight frame? if I install this one with the black LED it may make look some what bigger instead of the skinny look

Well I couldn't wait for a stretched 7" light so I got the smaller LED and ask I got to say is wow, what a difference.  I never knew there was so much road at the end of my old light.  This light just makes night riding more pleasurable.

What partnumber did you use and what dealer did you get it from???

I don't know the part number, but it it's the chrome 5 3/4" LED from Harley.  I used Alamo City Harley

The WHITE LED lamp is 73273-11A
Black LED lamp is 67700043A
