  not sure what happened, other than I remember touching the screen at about 65 mph and I got to watch in the mirror in horror as my gps had fallen out of the cradle and decides to leave my bike whilst in motion. What a site to see as I watched it bounce, twist, somersault, bounce and bounce some more until coming to rest at the  side of the road.

I was wondering how many pieces I'd find it in, if i could find it at all!

Upon approach when I located it, i saw it was embedded in the sand at the side of the road,

Well hallelujah! The screen was fine and not cracked! And the Zumo turns right on!

The back got all scratched and the outer ring disintegrated, other than that, it is fine and functional.

Moral here is to make sure it is clicked into the cradle before departure. But hey, if you want to have fun, toss it off your bike at a high rate of speed and prove me wrong!
