We've had a rash of them here too, but no big bikes yet (knock on wood).

A couple of crews are using vans (usually stolen also), they back up to the bike, four jump out two on each end, lift it up and toss it in!

Disc lock's not gonna help at all.

Doesn't matter how well it's locked.  Had a vintage Suzuki stolen from my NC cabin.  It was chained to a floor achor in concrete.  They broke the concrete and stole the bike, chain, lock and anchor.  Despite it's age and rarity, never showed up anywhere in the area (service, dealers, etc.).

Park your Bike in grass on top of wire mess  then soak it all down with water and hook the wire mesh to a 12 volt battery. It will slow them down!! :2vrolijk_21:
