Fullsac Headpipe only?
« on: July 04, 2012, 10:20:08 AM »

Has anyone just pipe on a fullsac headpipe (c) with a fuel tuner and kept there original exhaust on their 110's?  I tend to like the quietness of the stock pipes but would like to try and cool the motor down a little and hopfully improve throttle response.
What would i gain if i switched to the fullsac 2 inch baffle? or a set of Vance and Hines ovals?
Thanks for any Information
Mike

I had the same concerns about noise. I did the 2" baffle and X pipe thinking I could re install the factory baffle ifI I thought it was too loud.  I love the sound! Quiet until you open it up Not to loud, nice deep tone!

Never heard anybody complain that the Fullsac 1.75" cores were too loud.

I have the 2".  Not too loud at all.  They are just right and came highly recommended from steve when I asked the same thing.  I didn't want loud.  But he told me the 2" was the way to go.   So I listened this time.  Great choice for me.    :2vrolijk_21:

I used the Fullsac X-pipe and CVO mufflers on my 103", I was concerned about the noise bouncing off my trailer and being too loud.
After many miles, the 1 3/4"cores and new packing makes long days on the road very pleasant.
