I swapped out my handlbars and cables today. When I reinstalled the tank and went to start it up, fuel started spraying from the fittings on the tank. I popped the lines back off several times checking for dirt and making sure the chrome collars seated down with a good "click". The lines still leaked under pressure. What do I need to replace here?

I am not sure what lines the 01's use, but my 05 had the same type leak after the tank was pulled.   Long story short, the 05's at least came from the factory with a crappy hard plastic line with pressed in fittings.  The line was leaking at the fitting under the tank and there was no way to tighten it.   Went to the dealer and found they have a superceded part number for that line now and it is a larger diameter rubber hose with clamps on each end of the line now. End of leak.
