Anyone Rollin with SE Slipon's?
« on: July 07, 2012, 08:31:37 AM »

I would like to get a bit more sound out of my exhaust....the stock pipes make my hog sound like a sewing machine.  I don't want loud...been there done that.  The dealer told me the SE slip ons wouldn't sound much different  than stock.  Any opinions on this mod from those of you who have went this route ?

Yes, I did.  Like the sound much better than stock.  Loud hurts my old rocker ears.

heat shields fit back on, but are about and inch longer that pipes.   Not one person has noticed, which I think is interesting because I had so much trouble with it in my mind when installing.  ???

I installed them and was not impressed. Still very quiet.

Are they not stock on all cvo Harley's ? I have them on my 2012 street glide they came on it and are very quiet. I personally don't care for them and plan to upgrade when I find that winning Lotto ticket.

Screamin Eagle mufflers = waste of money. If you want to maintain the stock look, I would look into the Fullsac baffle replacements.

I installed the 49 state legal slip-ons and they sound WAY better than the stock SE mufflers it came with.
