That was kinda my first thought.

If the dealer doubts your story, replicate it by making another chip in the paint and dabbing some of the touch-up paint on the new chip (take before and after pics).  If the painted can has to be repainted or replaced, what's the harm.

Ouch, I know that hurts.  If you bought factory OEM touch up paint then HD ought to stand behind you. Get corporate involved and ask them to laboratory test what they sold you. Worst case is paying Harley or an independant to respray. I'd probably trust the factory to better match the CVO scheme than a local painter.

UPDATE: Took the bike to the dealer and both the Service Mgr. and the Parts Mgr. said the exact same thing " Holy chit" . They are contacting the MoCo armed with my pictures and all info. Both feel that it was A reaction between the paints. At least I feel better with the knowledge that they are in my corner. So we will see what comes of it.

I sniff around the ladies beauty bar until I find matching fingernail polish and whammo....got my touchup paint at a fraction of the price....could be a problem with yellow, but there are some weirdo's out there
