seat pad
« on: July 14, 2012, 09:08:06 AM »

I'm looking for extra padding for my 08 seat that will give me more miles of comfort. Not looking to rebuild the seat, just something I can put on and remove easilly. Any suggestions?

Own one, love it. Use it whenever I am planning a riding day over 350 miles. I ride a Wide Glide, not a touring machine so I need that extra comfort for long rides.

I have a black sheepskin ProPad, SuprCruizer model that's for sale.  It was only used a couple of times.  Cost new$150.  $100 shipped.  You can check their website for more info..

IMO, there is no substitute for an Air Hawk.

My recommendation is to get a Corbin seat. Then you don't have to deal with loose stuff.

The Airhawk Cruiser R is a good option if you don't want to change the seat out.  You don't have to strap it on...just stick in on there, adjust the air pressure to where it's just barely keeping your butt off the regular seat.  It should feel like you're sitting on a big wad of jello when you shift your butt around.  When you park, just toss it into the TP.
