Finned Headbolt Bridge
« on: July 09, 2012, 05:24:51 PM »

Has anyone installed this accessory?
Just wondering how this would function other than cosmetically.

Relatively new piece, made to match the granite CVO engines.

I was wondering if these would hold in heat.  :nixweiss:
How long have you had yours on d00d?

Cant' say one way or the other if they would/will hold in heat as I didn't measure/monitor heat before or after I installed them. :nixweiss: I have P/N 43857-00 on mine and have had them since July 2005.

I've had them on my bikes since 2001, rode across the southern desert states a couple of times, never had any problems.

I have them on my sesg3.    Great item.  They match and look better to me than any other choices for head bolt covers.   You won't be sorry with those.   Heat is no issue either

Installed them on my bike a month ago. Haven't noticed anything different. Look nice when installed. Go for it. :cucumber:
