2011 CVO Ultra Classic Tourpak LED Lighting question(s)
« on: June 28, 2012, 06:42:48 PM »

I am trying to find out if the 2011 CVO Ultra Classic tourpak LED lights have the run/turn/brake functions for the rear LED's or just the run and turn. Please advise. Thanks

The stock setup is only Run (all three + lower strips) and the center light functions as a Run/Stop.

I picked up a harness at www.ridetimetechnoloy.com you can patch in, that allows the corner lights to function as Run/Stop/Turn... all three light up bright when using the brakes, the opposite of the turn signal will light up as a Stop while the turn signal flashes.

Pretty easy to patch in, but it does require disassembly of the wiring pins from the factory plug so that they can be put into the harness' plug.

ridetimetechnology.com is the website.

TurnSe+Brake & Turn signal module for 2009 + later CVO Tour Paks.

$95.00 +  $8.85 shipping total $103.85

This is an easy mod! It takes about 30 minutes to install.

Thanks for the replies.

T-Hawk, when you mention "lower strips", are you referring to what I call the LED running lamps on the bottom of the tourpak? Thanks again.

Yep... I considered splicing in these when making the harness connections, but got distracted by an empty beer bottle and by the time I got back, I had forgot to wire them in as well... :drink:

Dont think those were available when I did my Road Glide Ultra.  I bought one from a board member (JDO) in this thread.
As I recall it was about 100.00 bucks.http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=52833.0  No splicing, had to switch a couple of wires in the tourpack, but, no cutting....There are some videos in that thread too.
