another paint update

Just went and saw my dealer yesterday. they have almost all the parts for my milk dud paint. the amazing thing is, they are replacing everything except 2 lids for the bags!!!!!! yea boy, inner & outter fairing,front & rear fenders, lower fairings, side covers, tanks, bags and even filler strips!!! they have all the parts except 2 .  [smiley=drink.gif] ;D [smiley=banana.gif] I guess good things do come to those who wait!!!

Count yourself lucky... the rear fender, fairing lowers, inner fairing, etc. (single color pieces) are not affected by the 'thick clear' issue and are not supposed to be replaced unless the dealer has 'pre-cleared' the inclusion of those parts, which I assume your dealer has done.

 :)  Good news... I am still waiting for a front fender, one rear saddle bag lower & a gas tank.

Saw a green Ultra @ the Gettysburg HD Dealership Sunday....poor bike was so milky, even my wife noticed the problem.

Let us know how all turns out when parts are installed.

they (the dealer) have been receiving them slowly, but never the less receiving them in my neck of the woods. went in weelend before last and they still had 8 parts to go last weekend they were only lacking 2
