Considering how much Harley gouges us for a CVO painted T-P, anything that will slow down the amateurs is a good idea.  As others have mentioned, none of these locks will stop a pro or even a determined amateur with a bit of time, but they will help with the casual light finger Louey looking for a T-P for his bike.  The Harley locks come with a much too long key, but a hacksaw and some epoxy takes care of that problem quite easily.

For whatever it is worth, my Harley locks came with two keys - a long one and a short one.  Not that it matters much because I cannot get the !$@#& things to fit around the attachment pegs.  >:(

Just had a conversation with a customer from the Philly area. He had our Tourpack Bullet Secure on his bike. Someone tried to get it off. Couldn't. But whoever it was messed up the screw, so we're sending him out another one for free. Can't beat that kind of testimony! First time that we know of that this product has been tested by a thief. We've had our seat securing products and our SaddlebagSecure tested - and they all came through with flying colors. Even had a customer in Texas wreck his bike, took the whole front and sides of the the hard bag off, but our SaddlebagSecure held the back on! haha He sent pics to prove it.

We tried to make a product that was both inexpensive but effective. All of our products are money-back guarantee if you are not happy with them.

Ride Secure!

Just had this testimony of how our Tour Pack BULLET Secure kept the customer's tourpack from being stolen.

Received a phone call from a customer in Pennsylvania (North of Philly). He believed someone had tried to steal his TourPack! Fortunately, they were unsuccessful and only succeeded in messing up the security screw on the Brukus TourPack BULLET Secure. We replaced that free of charge and were happy to know our BULLET secured his valuable Tour Pack!

I put these thing on my CVO but can get them to lock.   They seem to get hung up on the black plastic.

Guys what's the secret?

Well I think Jerry has the idea. Your just going to slow them down anyway and make them move to an easier mark. I just use large black zip tie in the slide. They can't see it and it's hard to get out if you don't have the right size blade to get in and cut it out. AND it's cheap!
