Just pointing out that not properly installing it would have an effect on how well it works.


No worries...  I take no offense.  Lord knows I have screwed up my share of things like this over the years.   :2vrolijk_21:

I was just confirming that I have checked, double-checked and triple-checked the installation on this and that is not the source of the problem.

There is, just Google "antenna Y adapter"
This is how I use the internal antenna when I have the Tour Pak on
and then just screw the short whip back on when I remove the Tour Pak.




Can that cause a reception issue when having both antenna's hooked up at the same time?

They are around $6 to $8 only you will be able to tell what it does for you.
I don't have the HD Hidden antenna, but it works with what I have.

I think these are coming stock on the serg now. Mine works way better than that goofy shorty it came with. That was awful.  :nixweiss:
