« on: March 04, 2013, 09:24:05 AM »

Hoping for some input on a hidden hitch for my 2012. Don't what to screw up the looks of the back of the bike with a hitch (you know my flag holder) seems all I'm finding are standard ones I'm sure they are out there just where, and thoughts one fit and finish. Thanks

I have an MC Hitch on my 2011 CVO Ultra. It's not a hidden hitch, but it mounts so close to the fender that you don't notice it. It is well built & I'm picky on what I put on my bike. I would go with them again. They also have plug & play wiring harneses & don't forget to get an isolator with the harness. You can get everything you need from them. If you have any questions, they have great customer service.

I'll PM you the link to the Bushtec Trailer site.  They have all kinds of hitches and their products are top notch.  I've owned three Bushtec trailers and there are quite a few others here on the site that have 'em.  Great products.  Their trailers use a pin type connection but they also sell the standard ball type, if you choose.  I will PM you the link to their website, specifically their hitches.  Hope this helps.

x2 on Bushtec.  I have a bushtec hitch on my 2009 SERG and is invisible when the receiver is out.  I found Bushtec to be very helpful when I first called them.  If you're not going with a bushtec trailer pin configuration, just tell them and they will sell you a regular type receiver. I will also be calling them to see what they have for a 2013 Ultra CVO.

I found this one earlier this week.  Considering one for my '12 CVO Street Glide.....just can't find anyone else who has one to get an idea of how good they are.  They look to be really stout though, and completely hidden.

Rocket, because of your (our) fender extension on the SESG, it may not work that is unless hide a hitch makes an extented attachement just for our particular scooters.  The Bushtec hitch takes into account the longer length on our rides....just sayin'... :2vrolijk_21:
And before anyone asks, no I don't have any stock in Bushtec.  Just pulled 'em all over the country and absolutely love 'em.  Great product

He makes a few different setups, one of which fits the street glide/road glide fender extensions (which is pretty much exactly the same as the CVO extension, just without a light mounted in the bottom).  He claims to have many mounted on CVO street glides with nothing but positive reviews.  I'm just wanting to find someone who already has one so I can get an honest idea of how strong it really is.  I haul an N-Line, so I have to deal with more tongue weight than someone with a dual wheel trailer would normally deal with.  No way to distribute the weight around to get less tongue weight when the wheel is completely behind the cargo box.

Okey dokey then.

:jack: Hey, how does that in line, single trailer pull?  Seen a few of them around and was just curious...
