Been there, done that! Hang in there, things WILL work out! Keep your head up! You realized what you needed to do for your finances, and you did it, so you do have your head on straight. I wish the best for you, and hope that you find the means very soon to be riding again! If you decide to look for a companion, I pray that you find someone with the same likes and dislikes.
I went thru a terrible divorce (are there any good ones?), but my WideGlide is what saved me. Some Friday's I would have my sleeping bag and a small dome tent strapped to the passenger seat. When Friday quitting time came around, I was on the bike riding with no destination in mind, just a general direction on the compass point. Wherever I got to that night, I slept. Rode Saturday, same thing Sat night. Rode Sunday, got home Sunday night to start over again. Several hundred miles per weekend. It kept my head clear so I could keep things in perspective.
Soon, I found a wonderful woman who enjoys riding on the seat behind me as much as I like riding. We have been together for 10 yrs and married for 8. When I totalled the WideGlide, and almost totalled myself, she was always there by my side until I was up and going again. So, we bought another WideGlide, and now have the CVO too.
Take care of yourself!!
