Whether the crazy guy just let go or not I'm still surprised he took flight like he did.  Unless he was moving at a faster clip then he seemed to be I'd have expected him to stay put; even without a windshield.  He didn't have to run far to catch the bike.  So it seems like the bike wasn't going all that fast.  But he took off like he had a sail.  I obviously need another beer because I'm thinking about this way too much....
