I'm getting one like yours in February. I can hardly wait. What windshield are you using ? It doesn't look stock. Have you done any mods to it or planning any in the future ? By the way congrats. It is one fine looking machine!

the windshield is a klock werks 8-1/2 inch so it will clear the gps
so far i have the led headlight and passing lamps, a bright ass taillight(12 led police version), and the mod to make the led light bar turn signal functional
putting a non-cat head pipe on soon and then I will start the performance mods, but not sure how far I will go

Good to know that the Klockwerks windshield works with the GPS. Did you do any riding with the stock windshield? I'm just wondering what to expect when my bike comes in. I am also doing some mods to mine. I'm changing out the stock exhaust with s/s power tune headers and kerker stout mufflers with an se tuner and a dyno tune. I'm also changing out the tourpak hinges and putting on the "frenched" look trim rings on the lights and trim rings on the speaker grilles. I'll have to wait and see whether I'll need to get a tourpak re-locator kit for it once my wife gets on it to see if she has enough room. Any other info would be greatly appreciated as this will be my first touring Harley.

I also have the Stardust SECUSE8, the back seat is tight so I just ordered a Kuryakan kit for mine.  I am 6' and found that I got some buffeting off the stock windshield, I went with the Harley Windsplitter and am happy with it.  For exhaust I went with V&H Power Duals and V&H Monster Ovals and a SERT.  Picture was taken prior to windshield and Monster Ovals.

+2 on klockwerks windshield.  My shield creates a nice calm pocket of air behind the shield, stock was buffeting right at helmet level. I can also hear the stereo better with the improved flow of air over and around me.

In response to ffltjeff I've read on another forum that the Kuryakin tour pak re-locator kit also raises the tour pak about 1" and one guy who installed one said his wife is now bothered by the speaker pods rubbing against her hips and was trying to come up with something to correct the problem. He stated that he is looking into adding more padding to the passenger seat to raise it up enough so the speaker pods would no longer interfere with his wife's comfort. Have you or any one else heard of any issues like this using the Kuryakin re-locator? I was considering going with the Kuryakin but now I'm not too sure.

I had started a thread about a week or two ago in regards to the George Anderson relocater kit vs the Kuryakan.  It was about 50/50 in responses to which was better.  I have not heard the issue in regards to height.  I liked the idea of easily being able to move it back to the origional position when she is not on the back.  I sure do not mean to offend anyone here but the issues may vary with the size of the passanger as well.  Sorry if I took this thread in a different direction.
