Curious if anyone has installed the Baker Factory 6 Kicker. Was reading the reverse thread and found the kicker part of the Baker website. I guess it'd just be for cool factor but wonder if the kicker arm would vibrate loose.  I installed a kicker on my 78 FXE and it was the only part to fall off. Was sure I had that sucker bolted down tight. Just sux when a Jap rider brings you parts that have fallen off. LOL.

Maybe I'll check with Baker to see if the kicker fits their DD7. Big bucks for the DD7 kit but I still like the idea of better ratios. Nothing wrong with stock except the trap door thing. Not sure if that's really been a problem area or a means to sell a product. Just dreamin' again.

the only problem with the kicker is that it wont work with efi - has to be old style ignition and a carb.

huge project to make it work. that said, all the parts to make it work exist.

Yeah I eread that after I posted and was hoping it was old info. Too much work and I don't want to get rid of the EFI and TBW. Thanks for confirming what I had read. Imagine you looked at the same install pdf. Bummer but not surprising.
