There's been a lot of talk on exhaust systems. One thing to note is if you are not going with a 2 into 1 exhaust then you need a system that will give you enough back pressure so you don't get a drop in performance in the 2K - 3K rpm range, where a lot of riding is done from.

For me, I am going to go with the S&S power tune duals for the headers as my dealer is very familiar with them and says they are the best fitment for the ultra plus they give more back pressure than the Vance & Hines power duals which was my 2nd choice. If we still need more back pressure we can add a baffle but hopefully not

For the pipes I am going with the Vance and Hines high outputs. Bigger exhaust, lower deep rumble.

Tuner will either be a TTS or Power Vision. Plus a good dyno

The best thing you can do is talk to your shop who will do the work and see what they are experienced with and what they recommend

By the way, if I went with a 2 into 1 system I would do the D&D boss fat cat like Jswerve has done with the ghost pipe. He has done his homework on the exhausts and that is a great choice. There are other great choices as well but I just like the way those pipes look and transition.

Power Duals with Monster Ovals have a nice deep sound.
