LED lighting question
« on: December 06, 2012, 09:05:04 AM »

I've always hated the lights, or lack of, on my 06 CUSE. When the HIDs came out, I was interested, but it seemed like the reviews weren't that great, so I never pulled the trigger. So now I've ordered the LED lights and the adapter to go from my current two bulb to the single LED. But my question is about making the spots stay on when on bright. In reading threads about LED's, I saw it mentioned, but don't think I saw a part # or if it's compatible with my 06. Or if it's a HD part. I do NOT use the GDO if that matters. Anybody have a part # ?

I leave for work in the dark and need as much lighting as possible.

Thanks, Robert

I have it and it works great.  One issue that someone else pointed out to me is that if you are trying to get someones attention, or warn somebody you are coming it may be more effective to have your passing lamps going on and off while you are switching between low and high beam than just having the main headlight switching from the lower to upper beam or vice-versa.  Just giving you another point of view.  That being said, I have the module on my bike.

I am about to buy the phase 7 truck lights and the module to keep the passing lites on while at high beam.  Here is my question.  If you have the module installed can you still turn the passing lamps off with the toggle switch on the dash?
Thanks.
