Well, I changed out the hinges and latches and added the lock cover all in black. The chrome luggage rack looked out of place so I changed it too. I like the blacked out tour pack and chrome on the rest. Thoughts?

FYI, the luggage rack came without studs that go through the tour pack, but instead 4 bolts that thread into the luggage rack legs. As I found out the hard way, the over sized, hollow bolt (used to run third brake light wires through, which I did), is larger than the other three, therefore so is the washer and plastic leg protector that the luggage rack sits on. Sooo, after having all three bolts in, and after threading the wires through the bolt, no an easy task for sure, I learned that I had the wrong washer and plastic foot for the large bolt. Soooo, off came the luggage rack to switch them out.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to add more than a single photo to a post? 3 more posts with pics to follow until I lean how and if that is done!

Thanks! I had to stop at the TP, otherwise all of the chrome would have to go and that was never the idea. I like the TP black and the rest chrome, it sort of defines the TP area.

I asked Jim who sells those awesome chrome Screamin Eagle plates for the rear tour pack if he could make one in black. He got back to me and said to powder coat it, his guy needs $125, it would look great, but $250 for that mod seems a bit overkill.

Sweet Brother !!!

Thanks! I used to referee hockey in your area. I miss the good hockey, but not the weather associated with it!
